My story
My name is Alex Harvey, and I have been coaching tennis for over 20 years.
As a senior professional, I made the semi-finals of the prestigious Hilton Head Championships in South Carolina, USA. I also reached the final of the Midland Bank National College Championships in Nottingham.
I feel privileged to coached at London's most prestigious clubs, having been a senior pro at the Roehampton Club, Head Coach of the renowned Wimbledon Club and professional Tennis Coach at the National Tennis Centre.
Having taken Juniors from novice to Regional Champions and then onto University Scholarships in the USA, I pride myself on honing technique and player psychology - building that winning confidence and mindset.
But tennis is not just about competition. I got into the game for the fun of it, and the love of the game. As the great Boris Becker said, "I love the winning, I can take the losing, but most of all I love to play."
That's exactly why I take as much pride and enjoyment from training all age groups to a level were they can really enjoy the game and gain entrance into local tennis clubs with confidence.
